Super Quiet Trykon

I stopped by my pro shop yesterday and a freind of mine was there and he had bought a Trykon a few days before. I always thought that my Trykon was real quiet and it is, but he put a STS on his and I swear is has totally eliminated the usual string buzz. I thought I had gotten rid of mine by removing the factory string shox and installing beaver balls. But shooting side by side at the same 60 lb draw weight his bow is quieter than mine. I would shoot it next to any Mathews and I'll bet you'd hear the Mathews over his Trykon. I have one on order of course.

I've been giving consideration to installing one of those on my UltraTec. Let me know how you like it.

Ive got one on my Vtech and its an amazing difference... just wait till you feel the shot w/ it on.. absolutely no hand shock. It might seem loud to you casue there is sometime some slap sound, but that is directed backwards so have a friend listen to it, or shoot it for ya, you'll see how much better it is.

Also, you will want to serve the string where it contacts, either that or you can do what i did: I have two of those rubber buttons like what you use btwn your arrow and the release, that are at the point of contact.

I have a Winners Choice string on my Trkon and it has a super hard coating on it so I don't think I'll need the buttons or serving

I got one ordered for mine. Should be here soon. I do hope it is as good as I have heard. I have never had the buzz sound that some talk about but I want to try this anyway. Does your friend have ANYTHING on the string other then maybe a loop?

You may want to consider something to help reduce the slapping sound that may develop

He has the factory fuse string shox and he does have a loop and a peep.

I got mine installed , but haven't been able to shoot it yet I pulled my back at work so I have to wait a few days. I'll let you know how it sounds
