Spine question

Hello. I shoot an AR34 with a 29" draw set at about 67 pounds. I am shooting a 28" Goldtip 5575 with a 100 gr. fieldpoint and I'm shooting a release.

Earlier last week I increased my pull by about 5lbs.. Every since then my 20 yd. shots are not grouping butI can put all four of my arrows in a three inch circle consistantly at 40 yards. My 20 yard shots tend to be 2-3" to the left and 2-3" high and low.

I'm thinking my arrow is fishtailing because it may be underspined. What do yall think? thanks.

I think your probably right. Sounds like you were OK at 67#, but since adding weight things have gone down hill.

One optionI would consider is lowering the weight back down to 67, tune your bow to the arrows you have and get ready for deer season. 67# is plenty.

I doupt you are that underspined.

A fishtailing arrow with a field point will go in the same hole every time................It really doesn't matter how an arrow flies at twenty yrds.

Maybe the extra five pounds is doing something to your form

Rack Attack, I'm not trying to argue with you I'm just trying to understand.

If the extra 5lbs. is doing something to my form at 20yds., wouldn't it still be doing it at 40yds? What could possibly cause my groups to tighten up the further I move back?
