? for Bowtech guys

I put some money down on a new Tribute today. It was a 27.5 in.draw. The guy changed the module to a 27in. draw for me. Me question is when he removed the original module it had three screws holding it on. The 27in. module he said uses only two screws to hold it on. Is this true or is this guy wrong? thanks

It is very possible since the module is going to be smaller, there may not be enough room for 3 screws. I have the modules on mine for 32" draw. I'll have to look when I get home and see how many screws I have.

My Tribute was set at 71lbs and 28" draw, just took a look at it and I only have 2 screws holding the module to the cam.

There is a place for a 3rd screw but it does not line up with the threaded hole in the cam.

It is possible that the 1/2 inch makes a difference and why only 2 screws are needed, but thats only a guess. My bow came from the factory this way, the dealer did nothing cept set up my add-ons.

You can always call Bowtech and ask their tech support at 541-284-4711.

My new Tribute is a 29'' draw at 61# peaked weight and it has two screws for each module. HCH

Just remember as a form of maintenance, you should check the screws to see they stay in place.

Some of the mods have 3 screws, some 2. This is normal.
