Target arrows for hunting

If my spine is correct for this arrow and it increases my fps and my ke can i use it? i am talking about CXL-2 by Carbon Express. Is it any stronger then their hunting arrows if they all use the same Buff Tuff technology?

Target arrows are fine for hunting as long as they are not ultra light or too fragile. They just cost more is all. But the upside is they have better quality control and are sorted better. And sometimes the target version and top of the line hunting arrows are the same arrows with a different look to them.

RE: Target arrows for hunting

Target arrow, hunting arrow - what's the difference? I select the arrow I want, buy a dozen, half get used for practice and half get put away for the hunt. Same with broadheads.

The market difference is about straightness, which is also about cost. But if you have a cheap arrow and you like how it flies, there's no reason not to hunt with it. And there's no shame in saving a buck or two, either. For most hunters, they'll see no difference between the way a .001 arrow and a .003 arrow flies anyway.

A lot of the tuning and selection concerns that we archers get into sometimes are for competition shooting, not hunting. It cost me a lot of unnecessary anxiety and $ to learn that.
