Someone help my drop away issues
I love my NAP 4000 drop away- I stack darts consistently- I always get fletching contact on my right prong- I've spun the nock every way and nothing seems to help. Field points seem okay but the broadheads can get a little whippy. Someone save the day- I'm staying with NAP because I love the company and their products. I shoot a Custom McPhearson target bow and Bowtech Old Glory- at 70# with Easton 340s, 100 grns.

"I stack darts consistently-"
Help me out here with your problem? Doesn't sound like you have one too my ears. |
RE: Someone help my drop away issues
Thanks, but, "broadheads shooting whippy" is bad, and re- fletching my shafts is getting old.

RE: Someone help my drop away issues
engie,
I had the same contact problem on the right sidewith my Spigarelli and new HTM drop-aways. Like most guys, I adjust all my rests where the arrow bisects the mounting hole when lifted by the launcher at full draw. Both rests had a different fix. On the Spigarelli, I had to adjust the launcher where it lifted the arrow higher and abit past the bisect point. Had to move my D-Loop a bit higher also to compensate but no problem and the contact disappeared. On the HTM, I had not tied the string bridge theanchor cord attached tolow enough and the launcher didn't have enough snap on release to fall rapidly enough for the vane to clear on the right. Once Imoved thestring bridgedown, no more problems. Also, sometimes, if you move your launcher or prongvery sightly right or left, the contact will disappear. I assume, you're shooting cock feather up on your arrows ? Hope this helps; good luck. Sag. |
