The bowtech manual sais...

on page 3 and 4, that on the 2006 Binary cams you can use the Post adjustment to increase/decrease your DL by 1/2"...increasing your DL with the Post adjustment effectively increases the let off and lengthens your valley...now does that mean that if I want to shoot my Ally with the highest let off possible and increase my valley, that I’m better off putting 28" mods on and increasing my DL by 1/2" using the Post adjustment, since I would like to remain at 28.5 DL regardless? Long question, I know...wonder if this is something you all have thought about...below are the pages from the manual that I’m referring to...thanks all in advance for your advice.

Page 4 is below, Bo

i'm not seeing that you can adjust it by 1/2". im seeing you can move the post 1/2 of a mark - the big lines. where does it say that. i know on my '06 i don't have 1/2" of adjustment.

Gibblet, i think you're right...i read it wrong...the manual says you can adjust the post 1/2 a mark...i just assumed that meant 1/2"...and we know what happens when people assume...:)

i think you can get about 1/8" either way, maybe a hair more - for 1/4" of play. to me, drawlength and quiet are more important than speed. if you like shooting a loop you can go down to a 28" and give a bit longer loop - or get some inserts and pin nocks and go 28.5 and make a really small loop.
