broadhead sharpening
 

I don't feel competent enough to get a perfect edge with a mill file. What are you using to sharpen fixed blade broadheads that is easy to use and doesn't require the skill of a brain surgeon?

Look in some archery catalogs.They sell angled hones and stones made for sharpening fixed heads.Also a lansky knife sharpener works good.They have clamps with preset angles for sharpening.

I'd try a cheap sharpener (5 bucks) but if that doesn't get them how you want them (and I prefer them scary to handle) just replace the blades. If your heads don't take replaceable insert blades then you might want to invest in a nice broadhead sharpener. Try a lansky style sharpener, maybe a friend has one you could borrow to try or something, I've had some luck with mine. I guess I'm basically saying you'll have to spend some money but it's definitely worth it

Best tool ever invented is the "AccuSharp". Get one at Wally world. It will put a shaving sharp edge on your broadheads, and knives. It's also a no brainer to use. Hope this helps. Be safe.

Try a fish hook file sharpener with a slot in the middle. Works great on my Muzzys. Even use it to sharpen the tip edges.

I use a carbide knife sharpener called "Speedy Sharp".
