What is the formula for figuring out your arrows kinetic energy?

Go to Easton's web site, they have a program that will do it for youwithout having to convert numbers longhand. It was attached to their shaft selection download when I did it.

But if you want to torture yourself doing it by hand,
here it is......

kenetic energy equals the velocity squared, times the mass, times 0.5

I had to write it out myself in order to remember it, and I had to translate it since I can't get this board to let me write out the formula in the correct format and symbols
