Did it improve your accuracy at all or what were the benefits over regular 4" vanes?

I tried Quikspins out last year and saw a slight increase in accuracy. However, it wasn't enough to compensate for the noise and quickly becoming wavy fletching that is way too costly for someone that shoots as much as I'm sure most of us do. Blazers are a nice and light fletching that provide good stablilty and increase my speed by shaving a few extra grains off my weight. I love the Blazers and will continue using them through this coming season.

As far as someone looking for better accuracy as the main upgrade, they probably aren't the answer, though?

They aren't a "quick fix" if that's what you mean. Fletching is just a small part of accuracy. A properly tuned bow, and arrow, is the biggest. Most guys, myself included, just think the larger fletching looks gaudy. I like the look of a shorter vane, and they work just as good as a 4" or better vane.

Not looking for a "fix" by any means. I would just wonder if, after I've properly tuned and sighted-in with my regular setup, I could get a better group with the Blazers, maybe after some sight adjustments to accomodate the new fletching if necessary?

Maybe. Depending on your FOC and such stuff. You'll gain a foot or two per second because of the reduced weight. They don't spin as much as say a 4" duravane on a hard right helical because they won't have the spin. As I'm typing this, I'm thinking.........my guess is you won't really see much difference w/ field points, but where these babies shine in w/ broadheads.

I noticed you're getting some sent to you free of charge, so do a couple up and let us know what you think. Personally, I love 'em and will keep on using them.

I'm with most on here, I've used both and find that the blazers are more durable and actually stabilize the arrow better.

How much does a shop usually charge you to refletch one or two shafts? My arrows are wrapped as well, does that mess anything up in the process?

Yeah, now things get a might tricky. I do all my arrows myself, so all I have invested is materials. It shouldn't be bad, though. A couple of bucks prolly.
