Gold Tip arrows?/Series 22

I was wondering if anyone has tried these arrows for hunting or target shooting. They caught my eye when i was looking through one of my catalogues?. If anyone has tried them could you tell me what you think. Are they as durable as there regular shafts? Thanks.

RE: Gold Tip arrows?/Series 22

I have used them for 2 years for 3-D and hunting. I have used 55-75 and 75-95's in the past and think that the series 22's are not quite as durable but real close. About 5 guys in our club use them for 3-d and 3 or 4 use them to hunt with as well. Gold tip calls them a target arrow but I think they are a great hunting arrow as well. I've taken elk and deer with them. They are a little stiff if you are shooting lighter pounds. I get broadheads and field tips to hit the same with 60 to 70 pounds. I don't like their nocks as well as uni-nocks so I use either a 2117 uni-bushing or gold tips uni-bushing and a uni-nock. If you want to have a light front end use a carbon insert for a 2117. Works great. Try some, I won't be changing anytime soon.
