String loop and peep alignment

Hello
I have a peep sight that sits perpendicular to the string while dividing it into three groups of strands. Lately when I shoot, sometimes I see one group ofthe string strandsin the sight picture. This problem has just evolvedrecently.
I would like to go to a peep that would sit parallel to the string, giving a clear sight picture, without the use of a rubber cord. Is there a way to anchor the string loop to the serving so it always pulls the string the same way?
It could be that once the loop tightens up, it doesn't move andalways pulls the same way and as the string stretches the problem arises.
Would a metal loop be better?
Thanks for any advice
Dan

RE: String loop and peep alignment

no, a metal loop wouldn't be better. if you want to offset your loop a bit, get it where you want it and stick some needle nose pliers in it and open them up as hard as you can. it will lock your loop in place. the situation is that depending who made the string, it may be settling and 1 adjustment is all you need, or it may never stop getting longer because it is slowly slipping apart because of construction methods, or just a mistake someone made.
