String specs on Bowtech generation3
 

Does anyone have any string and cable length specs. for a Bowtech generation 3?
Also proper brace, and ATA, specs, would be very helpful.

have you tried downloading the owners manual for that year model off their website?

All the info will be there if you can get it.

I have not tried that yet. Bowtechs website is tough to access with dial up.
It takes forever :)

AtA is 36"

Option 1 brace 5.65"
Option 2 brace 6.65"

2002 Generation 3.2

AtA 37.375"
brace 7"


Could not find any string and cable lenghts.

You could try and email them to find out the lenghts.

There were two G3models in 2001, (oldest specs Ican currently lay hands on, sorry)5.65" bh and 6.65" bh. Both retained an ATA of 36". String length on both was 87-1/2", cable 1 was 38-1/16" and cable 2 was 18". Speeds at 70lbs were 324-332fps for the 5.65" Brace model, and 310-318 fps for the 6.65" model. I shot one of these for a bit but it wasquite touchyand not as fast as projected. But to their creditBowtech changed the design around completelyin 2002 and upgraded it to the Gen 3.2. That one had 7" brace and was a bit more forgiving, with muchless shock and recoil. They were rat traps IMHO, andtho the force multiplier was a novel idea it never took off---everyone thought they were "goofy" like an Oneida, Bowman Accuriser,or older Pearson Advantage. They did not maintain the exactingly level nock travel they advertised for them either, they started out high, much like a conventional twin.

Both Parker and Diamond also licensed the technology of the force multiplier, but again, it just never took off because it didn't really "mulitply" anything except things to worry about.;)

Thank you very much! That is exactly what iam looking for.
A friend dropped it off yesterday, and wanted me to get some new strings and cables for it.
I do remember, parkerdid have the force multiplier as you said.

Nah, been there, done that, thanks.In fact Iwas one of the first B-tech dealers in the Northeast-- signing on with them straight out of the blocks in 1999. We parted ways in 2003, nuff said.So, yep-- I still have some of my old spec sheets-- kind-of a pack rat when it comes to stuff like that, never know when someone could use them-- right Brian??;)

It'sgoing to vary depending on what model year the bow is and which version it is. The 2000 model had two different Force Multipliers, onewascompletely round and the other was a half moon shaped so they'll take different cable lengths.

If you're not sure what model year it is,the 2000 modelused an FM module whereas the 2001 model used a BT or DS module.

The specs for the2000 model with the full round multiplier is; 88 1/8" string, 38 5/8"long cable and 19 5/8" short cable.

The specs for the 2000 model with the half moon shaped multiplier is; 88 1/8" string, 38 5/8" cable and 18 3/4" short cable.
