Yes... You will notice more consistency with a higher FOC. I've played with both 100 grain tips and 125 grain tips and different draw weights. For whatever reason, I found 125 grain was a hair more consistent as far as arrow grouping. It was a hair slower (+/- 4 fps), but the accuracy was dead on....

Depends on your spine, if you are really close on spine the larger tip might put you into the weak side. However if your arrows are sufficiently stiff it might help. Try it and see. Switching to feathers would help some as well.
