What Stab are you using?

I shoot the BK II, 71 lbs, 30" draw, 3-60 ACC's with 75 grain tip. Looking for a new stab. I have seen good things about the Stealth?
Already spent $40 bucks on a Carbon Impact that doesn't impress me.

I use the 7 inch Doinker on my Legacy and I am very pleased with it. You might want to try it.

AB,
I already mentioned the STealth, but here's a review I did on it here a little while ago...click the link. The pictures are missing? But you get the idea.

I've got the Sims Modular Stabilizer on both my
Mathews. Really does a good job of taking out
the shock and vibration. I'm using a Sims
Stabilizer Enhancer on the end of one and a
Doinker Chubby, with only 2 modules,on the end
of the other.

I love my 10" stealth hunter on my ICON. I'll be putting one on my DC Patriot in Jan.

For target, I use AEP.
For hunting, the Kyber is the best I've found.
The Stealth sounds interesting though.
Will have to try one someday.

RE: What Stab are you using?

Well, unfortuantely the best stabilizer I have ever used is no longer being made to my knowledge. It's named Sorbotek. They have just about all dried up. If anyone knows w a dealer might have some laying around, please let me know! I do have access to the 9" 12 oz.(appx) model. In particular I'm looking for the shorter black (not camo)model, about 7" and 9 oz or so. I gave away my last one to a friend.

I also like the Stealth. However If I have no luck finding the shorty Sorbotek, I believe I'm gonna give the Sims Enhancer a go or the GKF Tranquilizer. That is unless something new comes along at the AMO show that I HAVE to try!

The SIMS Modular stabilizer (black) does the job for me. I haven't used it, but NAP's stabilizer looks good too.

I've tried several different stabs in the last season and 3 stand out as exceptional. The GK Tranq, the SVL Mod-3, and the Trophy Ridge Xchanger. Depending on the exact weight and balance you're lookinf for. My favorite for my Q2 is a GKF Tranq Shorty with a SVL Module attached to the front, then I use 2 SVL Mods in the rear bushing. This is THE most incredible sound and vibration dampening system I have ever seen. Talk about soak up the shot.....WOW!!!

RE: What Stab are you using?

For 3D I use a 26" Vibracheck Shockwave. For hunting I use the Simms Enhancer. I do not care to use a stabilizer of any great length for hunting, because its just something else to hang up in the brush.

RE: What Stab are you using?

Sounds like I have try some out. thanks. I am going to have a machinist make one also, has anyone custom made their own stab? I was thinking of filling it with a sand & sredded super ball mixture.

Good judgment comes from years of bad judgment.

RE: What Stab are you using?

I can build you a custom stabilizer....you can choose the length from 4"6"8"10" or 12 inch.
Tell me what you want for weight and I will have it in your mail box in about a week unless you want a camo one then the turn around time at the camo applicator is 4-5 weeks, they do offer most of the popular patterns!
This is expensive, but if you want a custom stabilizer that will get the job done....I can build you one made to order, with the camo pattern you want.
You can save yourself about $30.00 if you want a black anodized Stealth Hunter or Stealth 3-D the camo is costly when having them done in small amounts!

Hey Matt, nice job on that buck....I hope to smack a good one soon,I have 5 days off in Nov.
The rut should be going and those big boys will be out trolling for does.
I have been passing on the basket racks....so far....my trigger finger is getting itchy, but if you shoot the small ones they will never get big eh?
Your buck looks like a older deer, not his first rodeo, but you out foxed him....those old boys aint dumb!
congrats! Jerry
