Gibblet's crappy strings
Well that made ya look:)
I finally got the string and cable John made for me on my Diamond. As per usual his work is top shelf. ![]() I decided to go with a floating yoke. Have not been able to shoot the bow yet gonna go out later this afternoon (if my wife stops finding stuff for me to do)and put them to the test.;) |

RE: Gibblet's crappy strings
From the shooting I done tonightI am impressed with the floating yoke but I spose time will tell;)
When I get the string and cable shot in I will do a little twisting to get the poundage and cam timing back but for now 57lb is ok asI have not been able to do much shooting due to work, but now I am the supervisor at work I am on the good day shift with plenty of time before dark to shoot. Once again John's work is top shelf and anyone wanting or needed a new string give John a call just dont ask for the extra "nasty";):):D |
RE: Gibblet's crappy strings
Well, one of them is that they put even pressure on both sides of the limb in an effort to stop it from twisting. I suppose also that it reduces stresss on the cam/axel area. My Hoyt came with it so I couldn't say what it was like it without it.
