Hoyt limbs
 
Hoyt Limbs making a squeaking noise when i draw back. What should i do and is anyone else having this problem.

Grease the limb pockets with a thorough amount of RIG grease.

yup, i had to grease my pockets, but it was stilllll creaking, so i sprayed some silicon spray into the cam axle, and that got er done

Your positive it's the limb? I only ask because occasionally I get a small piece of dirt or something in the cable slide and it creaks like that too. I would swear it's a limb, but isn't. Anyways, check that too.

ok well where can you get rig grease. are there any other alternatives that maybe i would have around the house?

i had the same problem recently with my trykon xl, it was the bushings on the cam axles on the outside of the limb where the string loops on. had to put it in a press and remove the bushings and filed them just a touch, totally took care of the noise. hope this helps.

Any decent gun dealer should have RIG grease but any firearms grease should work and many industrial greases should work also but I know RIG does.
