A Happy Camper Once Again..Hoyt comes through!

Frank, I'm really sorry to hear that happened. I'm glad to hear you're OK though. Hoyt is a big company, so hopefully they will fix you up right.

Thank you folks for the responses again.
To answer some of the recent questions.....I have no idea what speed it was shooting as the first arrow I zinged through the chronograph (maybe I should reword that...) produced a reading in meters and not feet per second. When I adjusted it back to feet per second that is when the bow went caput.
As for the current status of the situation....I just heard from my local dealer. Hoyt called him today and told him that I would have a new bow waiting for me down at the shop tomorrow. They are overnighting one. I am to send the bow I have now back to them upon receipt of the new bow so that they can determine exactly what happened.
How is that for service? I need to go back and change the title of this thread....

Siskyou,
I can assure you that in my email correspondence with them I never made any mention of owning 12 Hoyt bows in the last 3 or 4 years....not to mention a few of their hats..... I wanted to be treated as an "average Joe" who has a problem....since that is basically what I am...nothing more. This is the second time in recent months where I have experienced Hoyt stepping up their customer service a notch or two. Don't be surprised to hear similarly good reports from other folks soon.....well, at least not about the same type of problem I hope...

Frank, I'm really glad that's how they handled it... Like I said before I personally wouldn't have accepted anything else...
I also kind of figured they would want to see the bow and see if there may be more to it than what you saw...
I'm sure you're happy now so go stick your sticker..... On the back of your Kia silly....

Frank, glad to hear they took care of your bow, in an acceptable manner. Good luck with the new one.
