may try release , any ideas ??
 

Hey Eveyone,
Hope everyones winter/spring is going well. We just had 40 inches of rain here in the last 3 months( Kaua'i) in our area. Good time to hunt pigs but access is hard to come by.Anyways;)
Ive always shot a bow with fingers but I can feel my nuckles tweaking the nock on my arrow when Im holding at full draw. My acuracy is pretty accurate but could stand for some improvements.
My Martin has a 36 3/8 inch axle to axle length. This would be between a short and long length bow I would guess. Iv only had 2 bowsin the past 10 years. Anyways Id like to find a release that wont increase my anchor point length , its in a perfect place now;)Is that possible. Id als like to use a loop .
Any ideas or quick thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

Also I shoot a target in my garage and worry that a release aid may false fire B4 i want it to and put a arrow thru the wall . Are they preety safe and reliable.

Just practice my famousindoor safety rule #3-249B.

“Always remember to unscrew the field point from your arrow when you are drawing a bow indoors. This way it makes less of a mess if bow is accidentally fired.”


So even if your release fires unexpectedly, a blunt arrow may not pass through the garage wall like you previously expected it to.



I'm not an expert on releases, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

So take my advice, try and test out some various types of releases. This is best way to decide if you want to use one or not. Personal preference is key.

Ohh,BTW, did you ever get those 78 year old strings replaced? ;)

Got afriend working on them . They are tear drop style , so shouldnt take to long:).
We have no hunting shops here so if any recomendations let me know.
