Peep Alignment

When i draw my bow my peep slightly tilts to the right restricting my sight. The sight was put into the line by the pro shop. If I turn peep to the left a little before i draw it aligns perfect for the one shot, then goes back to original position. Anyone know how i can twist the string or anything like this where it will stay so it draws back and stays in the right position?

usually, if its real close, folks will offset their string loop a little bit. when you get your loop offset correctly, stick some needle nose pliers in there and tighten it up and it'll stay put. if its off just a tad, a half twist is often too much.

if you've been fiddling with its height while its on your bow, just go to the shop, or press it at home, take the peep out, draw the bow a couple times, and then put it back in where it goes. that'll clear up minor rotation. you can mark the string with a magic marker before you take it out so you know where to put it back.

The Pro shop obvioulsy did notline itup right when they put it on your bow.I use a tube on mine and never have that problem. I know a lot of folks here don't like peeps with a tube, but then again a lot of folks like them. I change my rubber tube a couple times a year to make sure iits always fresh and won't break when I'm using it.I am first a deer hunter and when that big boy comes in peep alinement is one less thing I have to worry about. There is enough to be thinking of at that point and the less you have to worry about your equipment the better. Mike

You'll need a press.

Slightly take the tension off the string.....now move a couple strands of string from one side of the peep to the other. Now move the same number of strands from that side, around the opposite side to the first side. You can do this until the peep comes around perfectly. It might mean that the peep is off tilt until you draw where it will align because of string twist.
