Pic of Bowtech Quiver----strange to you?
Here are a few pics of my new Bowtech quiver.....
It's really odd but the way the arrows go in to the foam receiver they go in at an angle and dont "center" on the foam. Is this normal for this quiver? It seems weird to me. Notice how everything is shifted to the right. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I don't see it causing any problems however, can't you simply create your own holding holes in the foam to straighten out the alignmnet if it bothers you.
Perhaps the holes in the foam were simply not punched square. Also, how about pulling the foam out, turn it over and slip it back in, punch your own holes.... Not sure if that's what you were looking for...Still looks nice tho... |
RE: Pic of Bowtech Quiver----strange to you?
Rob, I don'tthink there's any holes punched in the hole to start with... What's causing Flipout's arrows to point a certain way is the second set of grippers; once you've got two sets of grippers holding the shaft, that's going to control where the head hits the foam, if I'm not mistaken.
Flipout, I'd have to look at my quiver when I get home (unfortunately, I'm stuck down here in Orlando at Disney World at the moment), but I believe my quiver only has one set of grippers, allowing me to choose where to insert the arrowhead into the foam... I'll try to follow up next weekwhen I get home. |

The grippers in the middle are to be usedfor mechanical heads and if doing so the foam should also be taken out of the hood.
If you're shooting fixed blade heads I would remove the middle gripper and then realign your arrows. |

Well now, I am a better man today because I learned something. I love doing that.:)
I don't know how I over looked that either and that's why I love these forums as well....Thanks Greg and thanks Bowtech Shooter.... My next question would have been, do the grippers slide similiar to Hoyt's? You could slide them within the mount...but the question looks to be answered. Great job. |
