I am an old ball, only 5'9 1/2" (but who's counting?)but I have a 6'1" wingspan. (Big whoop, huh! :D)

So that translates into me having 29 inchesof draw length.

I'm 6'6" tall, 82" wingspan, compound draw length 33 1/2".

6' 0" tall... Using the wingspan method, my span is 75". Divide that by 2.5 and it is 30". But yet when I draw a bow, I measure 29". Go figure....

Exactly right....5'10" and a 28.5" draw.

I've shot a 29 inch draw over the last 10 years knowing I was slightly overdrawn. I did it for the speed and knowing it's better to shoot a bow slightly short than it is long, I shot it fantasticly. However as we shrink with age.....I shot my Vortec at 28.75" because of letoff adjustments I finally ordered my new Allegiance in a 28.5" draw and it feels exactly...

1/4" shy of being an even 6 footer. For years I was overdrawing with success at 30". A few years ago I cut it down to 29.5" and right now its better than ever at 29.25" on my Patriot.

5'9, 73 & change wingspan, but shoot 29 with a loop comfortably. (it would be 28.5 with a newer Mathews)

I don't know my wingspan, but the guy that coaches me a bit has me adjusted to 29 3/8 including the loop. I am 6.0 even and have really long monkey arms. Using the method that GRIV from Copper John uses, I should be 29.5 but 29 3/8" gives me a little less range of movement in my float without becoming jerky.

6'2" 30 1/2 inches on compound
29 on longbow/recurve

5'8" and 28 inch's or 27 7/8 to be DEAD on The 1/8 inch is noticable , one reason I love my darton marvic so much , fine adjustability .

As you can see, there is some but not absolute relationships between draw length and height. I've had some customers who really broke the mold. 5'7" with a 30" DL, 6'7" with a 28" DL, and 6'1" with a 34" DL are just a few that come to mind.

Your best bet as a start is still the Wingspan method.;)

You guys are all a bunch of "bigfoots". I'm a little guy, 5' 3". I've been shooting a 27.5" draw length, however, just ordered a new Switchback XT today with a 26" draw length.

6'10" 34" draw....pretty tough to find equipment especially bows and arrows! Then camo becomes a harder hunt to find than deer!

Do what I do for camo... Paint yourself brown, put on a fuzzy green wig and act like a tree. [8D]

Yoopermike, where do you get your camo, and what kind do you use? Also what size shoe or boot do you wear and where do you get them?I wear a fifteen/sixteen boot and have a hard time finding them I would imagine you probably wear around an eighteeen or so right?

Wow, I might have the shortest DL here at 26". I'm about 5'11''.

5'11"with a28.5" DL (with a loop). I used to be 6' and although my arms are still the same length, I've shortened my drawlength an inch and find it easier to control.
