Rip-Cord Rests

Has anyone had any problems with the Rip-Cord fall away rest? Just yesterday, mine started "sticking" and not falling out of the way when released.

It sheared off a couple vanes and missed high by a couple feet.

Ya I had the same problem, and before anyone says it was dirty it was only out of the package for a total of 2 days. got tired of screwing wiyh it and took out the brass stopper. guess I should have just bought a trophy taker.

I contacted RipCord and they said to take it back where I bought it and exchange it or I can send it to them and they'd replace it but it'd take up to 2 or 3 weeks. Went back to where I got it and exchanged it. They did not have another RipCord in stock so I got a QAD.

I was happy with the RipCord, up until the malfunctions, but I must say I like the QAD better! Very similar designs but the QAD is easier to use.
