B-stinger. I will never change to anything else. It does its job, cleaning up the painting of the target. And hey, it matches my bow.

I use a few different ones. From hunting to competition. I like Vibra-checks Carbon fiber for hunting. And I like Cartel and Kyber and Doinker for competition.

RE: Stabilizers..?
For Shooting Spots and Indoor 3D I use a Carbon Impact Multi Carbon Rod 34 inch Stabilizer and for bowhunting and Bowhunter Division 3D I use the Carbon Impact 12 inch Multi Carbon Rod Stabilizer they are light weight , extremley effectiveat dampening vibration and help to balance the bow best to suit my needs.
At the shop that I work at I just setup a guys Bowtech Tribute the other day with a Doinker Chubby Hunter and was impressed by its ability to dampen what little noise the bow made and with it being so small it didnt add a lot of weight to the bow, which is what the customer wanted. |
RE: Stabilizers..?
Limbsaver S-coil does the job of what? NOT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION! The only thing you can count on is dampening the noise and shock, so I consider the S-coil as a noise dampener tool, not a stabilizer. |
RE: Stabilizers..?
I use a 10" AEP on the 2" quick disconnect for a total of 12" on my hunting/HC bow (the Allegiance). For my open class/spots bow (Consitution) I have a 31.5" doinker carbon elite.

I alsouse the Stealth and really like it

RE: Stabilizers..?
I just replaced my old (95) steel 6 inch stabilizer with a 7 in. NAP 500 and love it. Very quiet and helped balance the bow, used to lean back , now the bow stays straight up and down;)

RE: Stabilizers..?
After reading this thread and getting somewhat educated, I changed stabilizers on my bow. I took off a 5" Vibracheck gel and put on a 7" Alpine Pro-flex with a forward weight. What a difference! The vibracheck really didn't do much to stabilize my bow at all. I guess I didn't really know what pin float was until it was gone. My bow doesn't need much in the way of vibration absorption and I found out what a stabilizer is for. Now do I stick with the Alpine or experiment some more?
Thank you to those of you who made it clear what a stabilizer is for. I noticed a marked improvement in accuracy with the forward weight and longer stabilizer. Man it pays to be on this site! |
RE: Stabilizers..?
I shoot the shorter Fuse Axium. What....5 inch I think?
