Arrow rest adjustment

I'm ready to dust off my old bow and take up the sport again and I have a question. Although I don't know what brand my arrow rest is, it is the style shown here:

The problem is that I don't really have any idea whether the spring adjustment should be set quite loose, tight, or somewhere in between. Can someone provide some basics to guide me in this adjustment?

If it matters, I'm using aluminum 2216 Easton arrows and my bow is set at 60#.

I'm assuming your refering to the old TM Hunter....paper tuning will help you but likely it'll be somewhere in between....;)

I've set prong rests up with enough tension to hold the arrow up as you draw the bow. Not much more. You'll probably need to make adjustments from there as you tune, but it's a good starting point.

Thanks, phil 5oh. I had it adjusted with a LOT of tension. I'll lighten the tension and take it from there.
