Very Important Question About Old Bow's 1980's I think
So... I was shooting my fathers old Bear Super Kodiak compound bow the other day and the worst thing happened. I was just about to reach full draw when I heard a loud snap. First thought that ran through my head was can I still see... When I established that I realized that something had broken. The string was still intact and then i looked at the limbs. the wooden limb was cracked an broken beyond belief. It was hard to tell my father because I was headed back to school and had no time to bring it to my local archery shop. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can buy limbs for an old bow like this. I believe he had bought it some time in the 1980's but I am not sure. I found this article on line and I think this is the same bow...

Please let me know if you know where I can buy limbs to replace them. Thank so much.

You're never going to find a new set of replacement limbs. It's been out of production way too long and the company has changed handssince then. Best bet is to keep an eye on Ebay and see if you can find another one just like it to use for parts.
