Hey ButchA, is that the Eric Clapton model?

And how do you get a picture under your name?

I still see "pros" on hunting shows without them. In fact if you notice Tom Miranda doesn't even use a rear peep.
I don't think I'd be using him as an example of what or what not to do...

Yep thats how you do it, just make sure when you burn that string end you smash it good and flat on a hard surface. If one of those knots putt thru it will wake you up for sure. Great illustration Sharkey thanks.

No, but it's close. It's a black strat with a maple neck that I found on the internet, then reduced it in size.

You go into your "profile" and upload an image as your avatar, then it will show up in every post that you have.

There is a metal kind but a hear it still wears out your string. I use the loop and have had no problems beside that it streches.

Doing this actually makes the melted end weaker and more succeptable to pull thru than if you fluff the ends and burn a ball on the end.

To get a good ball you first have to use the right loop material. It needs to be made 100% of either polyester or nylon including the inner fill. Too many use some sort of junk plastic like fiber fill that is crap for strength and melting a good ball.

Zeneth and Brownell make good loop material.

Oh yeah, I forgot aout the original question. [8D]

Been using a loop for 13 years now and not once have I had one pull thru or break. Use the right material and tie it correctly and you will have no problems at all.

Hey cope607:
Serve just above or below your loop. Then if it breaks or loosens you'll know where it was to begin with.
