xi info needed

Let me start by saying I am very new to bow hunting I just started this last season with a friends bow. I had so much fun with his I thought it was time to buy one myself. So I purchased a used XI millennium bow. I think I got a good deal I got it setup with a golden key rest, pendulum sight (don’t know brand), a few arrows and a release all fore $150. The bow shots great but my problem is it didn’t come with any manuals and the sticker on the bottom limb has been removed. So my question is can anyone out there tell me the weight range and the % let off of the bow. I know XI doesn’t make bows anymore so this is why I am finding it hard to get this info any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to find the weight range of the bow is to crank the limb bolts all the way in and weigh it, or have a shop do it. You can probably expect it to go a few pounds over it's limit, eg. 72# for a 60-70. Anyway, subtract 10# from the peak and this should tell you the 10# range the bow is designed for.

As for other info such as string and cable length try this. www.archery [email protected]

Hope this helps.

I used to own an XI and it was a great bow. I killed my first 2 deer with a bow using it including my largest archery buck (120 class 8 point). I quickly outgrew it after a few years sadly.

I killed my first 8 deer with an XI...incredible bows, not the fastest, but got the job done.
I really shouldnt have ever got rid of mine, I could not miss with that thing. I replaced it with a Hoyt Havoctec, and couldnt shoot that nearly as well.
Oh well, the new SuperSlam is serving me VERY well..
