How long do you recommend? I know everyone will say it's the hunters preferece, buy I want to know you're opinion or your setup. Also what kind of string silencers do you recommend?

It's not the size of your stabilizer but.......<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

All kidding aside, it is a personal choice that will vary bow to bow, hunter to hunter. This being said I seem to prefer shooting with a stab in the 7&quot; to 10&quot; range. Remember one of the reasons target stabs are so long are because the farther you extend that weight out from the grip the less torque you have. Of course a 30&quot; stab just wouldn't be practical in a hunting scenerio. I like to find a stab in the range mentioned earlier and then take vibration control and sound dampening into account as the most important aspect of a selected hunting stab. For these reasons my personal preference is the GK Tranq with a SVL Module

when it comes to length & weight it is all personal as Il-Corn said. Depending on your bow style, etc you can use amny variations of stablizers. Some good ones I have had a lot of good luck with are the Golden Key Tranquilizer, X-ring Sitka Flex, and the Queit Tune models. Currently I am using the Tranquilizer and it really removes the shock out of my bow.
