I never considered spot shooting before unitl this winter. All I can say is WOW! I have learned so much in the past couple months. I somehow got hooked up with a guy who was state champ 3 years in a row. He's good, very good. He got me into shooting a pure back tension release and slowly but surely I'm shooting better, and better each week. I always thought of spot shooting as something that wasn't nearly as tough as3D. Boy i was wrong! IMO, its tough. Being able to shoot 60 arrows the same exact way is very tough.

If you haven't gotten into the spot game, I suggest you give it a try, it's a ton of fun.

Spot shooting will make you a better 3D shooter as well if you use all the techniques you learn spot shooting, judge the distance and pick a spot. You'll be surprised how well you'll do this next season....provided you are good at judging yardage.
