How much past rest @ full draw?
 

How much should an arrow stick out past your rest at full draw. I made my draw length a little shorter. Just was wondering if too muchof arrow waspastmy rest, (quick tune 1000) at full draw would it effect the arrow flight.

Just didn't know if there was a rule of thumb, I thought I heard 1" to 1 1/2" but not sure. I shoot cx 400 with 85 grain thunder head

Idoubt you could shorten your draw enough to make a difference in overall arrow length.

There are a lot of variables involved, but as long as your arrows are shooting true I wouldn't worry about it. 1", 1.5", .5" it's all good;).

I used to have mine sticking out 1in past the riser but now I cut my arrows approx. 1/2 in shorter than the riser at full draw. With a broadhead on, it sticks past about a half inch. It's all personal preference, some don't like a broadhead over their knuckles others don't mind. As long as your spine is correct you can cut them where you want.

I cut the arrows so the point insert is not in contact with the rest. Doing this will allow the rest to work properly and to fine tune my setup.

It's been hard trying to hold that dam ruler at full draw:D
