hoyt vtec speed
 

anyone shoot a hoyt vtec? and if so what kind of speed do you get out of yourbow with what setup?

i shootmy vtec at 28.5", 64#, with a 426 gr arrow and have a speed around 252 fps.....justwondering if anyone else knew their vtec speed....just being curious

Just bought a VTec last week, 29" draw, 72#, 273 fps. Not sure of my exact arrow weight but I shoot 28" Beman ICS Camo Hunters size 340(10 grains per inch), and a 100 grain head. So not including the nock, 4" feathers and insert I weigh in at 380 grains.I would guess the total weight would be similar to yours?

I'm not even sure if this will prove to be the best combination for this bow or not.This same combo shoots very well from my 2002 Hoyt Magna Tec, so I'm hoping it will prove itself with this bow too. So far I am very happy with the VTec and I really like the Cam & 1/2.
