Last summer I put an STS on my Razor X. My already "quiet" bow, got even quieter, but important to me was a greater consistency in my shooting. that idea of the string stopping the same every time really helped me out. I was also able to take my leeches off although didn't notice much more than a foot or 2 gain in speed.

hey, thanks for all the good info. Just ordered a rear mount STS for my patriot. I still have the original hush kit on the bow but removed the string silencers to be replaced with the STS. let me now on your test results!! thanks alot
