Matrix compared to A/C/C
Does anyone have any experience with these two arrows? I know that Easton's A/C/C has become a standard for accuracy and consistency, but I was wondering how Beman's Matrix arrow compares with them. I know Beman makes a fine cabon shaft and wondered if their venture into Aluminum/Carbon technology is worth looking in to.

RE: Matrix compared to A/C/C
I switched to ACC's this past summer after shooting Gold Tip
XT's the past 6 years. With my GT's I could only get 4 or 5 arrows out of every dz to fly well with my fixed blade Wasp's and Muzzy's, seems like some of the inserts would not be set straight. Some arrows, within the same dz, shot with BH's would hit as much as 10"-12" in all directions at 20 yds. The 4 or 5 that flew OK were the ones I used for hunting. The guy at my bowshop who does all my arrows got tired of putting in new inserts, but arrows that won't fly well with BH's don't do me much good. I bought 15 ACC's this past summer and they all group within a couple inches of one another. I'm not really sure where the problem with my GT's was caused, but I couldn't be happier with my ACC's! TB |
