Slick Tricks 100
I know these have probably been discussed on here but I must have
missed it. I bought Slick Tricks 100 grain today but I have not shot them yet. Does anyone have any experience with sighting them in and shooting deer, etc. with them and how did you like them? |
RE: Slick Tricks 100
They are excellent broadheads. I do have full review on my website, but you can do a search here and find all the info you want.

RE: Slick Tricks 100
They fly great and really leave a large hole, due to the steep blade angle. They are tough, and the blades can be resharpened with an accusharp and used again. It may take a few times getting the knack of putting the together and taking them apart, but it is worth it. I think, by far, it is the best head on the market right now, due to its toughness and due to the fact that it flies so well for me. If you are shooting 60 lbs for game larger than deer, go with the regular tricks (1 inch cut). I have shot the magnum tricks out of my 60 lb bow, but limit the magnum tricks and the 60 lb bow to deer hunting. Id shoot a heavier bow and shoot the magnum tricks for larger game. I have shot 3 deer with the same head and blades.( Didnt really set out to do that, but the blades and head did not bend and I just resharpened them!)

RE: Slick Tricks 100
(IMO) Truly one of the best broadheads on the market today!

RE: Slick Tricks 100
how many blades do they have? You know our Bloodbrother/Wildlife Leader Mr. Ted Nuge recommends a two blade broadhead. LOL

RE: Slick Tricks 100
That's just what the Nuge prefer's doesn't necassarily mean it's the best for you .The Slick trick's I found were awsome for flight and being an 4 blade easy to tune with your field point's ,i never changed a thing while tuning them the flew almost the same as my fierld point's .They also come very sharp right out of the package.
They are bt far the best broadhead I've ever used ,and "yes" probably the best on the market today. nubo |
RE: Slick Tricks 100
I got out and shot them today. I would shoot the Slick Trick and
then a field tip. It is true they do fly like a field tip. I was using the Block target and probably shot it 20 time with the Slick Trick and the blades are still very sharp. I can't wait until I get to try it on a deer, hopefully this weekend. I have always used Thunderhead 100's and have had good luck with them, I just wanted to try something different. Thanks for the info. |
RE: Slick Tricks 100
