what are some good strings at a reasonable price? My bow shop has some for 29 bucks, I don't know what brand they are though.

hey russell, they're even better now. after cutting the very tip off my left middle finger - twice - the exact same way - duh -, me and the new toy have made fast friends. i guess we're blood brothers now, kinda, as i've taken some shavings from it too.

Vapor trail makes some nice strings , dont get the cheep ones at the shop , you definatly "get what you pay" for with strings and cabels . Winners choice allso makes good ones , but I dont like the x-coat ,and they are expensive . Next time around I think Ill give gibblet a shot and get the colors I want .

Don't you have a freakin job ? everytime I come on here after being off for a few minute's ,you've snuck in and posted ,and I can't find you anywhere .
One more thing if you buy a new trykon ,you'll have to find another bud to hunt with LMAO.

RE: strings

well I just went to the shop and bought one. I said something to him about adding a shorter string to help decrease my DL and I think he added one that was .5 inch shorter. It works but my bottom cam is preloaded, in other words its turned about an inch past from where it use to be. He pointed this out to me and said that the bow will still shoot, hunt etc normal. I didn't know if it mattered. I just wanted to get a sting on so I could practice all weekend. I plan on killing a deer sometime next week LOL.
