Im with gibblet on this , get a new quality string and a 1/4 inch true peep . Problem solved , while your at it replace your cabel/cabels at the same time .

How much do you guys get your cabels for? I might as well buy quality if I am going to do it.

gibblet, no worries about stepping on the ol' toes! I can tell you're the expert in the area; that's why I mentioned you at the bottom of the post. I'd just heard some good things about Trophy Bound's strings (zero stretch and the like...); I've got some on the way, so I'll let ya know how they do.
