55,thanks

I couldn't remember the name of the shaft but that is it.I can use as short as 26.5" arrows. My arrows weigh 280 gr and have over 12% foc.

The problem is not the nock itself but rather their is no unibushing type setup and in ASA I have found that little piece of aluminum in the back will save many shafts when getting hit from behind.I didn't have a single arrow get destroyed from another arrow last year and with my friends, that is saying something.

Joella Bates showed up at our indoor shoot a couple weeks ago shooting the CXL and I really liked them. The nock was also her only complaint and she made a suggestion to the company and they are looking into it.

I think they are in the works with that. I also think they do have a nock system with a uni, just not the same as easton, I aslo remember that easton uni will fit in Carbon express shafts, Im sure you could find the right one. The first thing I asked Dave Polzin was do the cxl take beiter nocks, because that is what I am going to with my next set up, for a more forgiving nock. I don't think they will fly as well as ACE out at the longer distances, so I am a bit stand offish. Anyways hope you give them I try, cause they look like great shafts.

I don't know if Joella had the factory or Beiter but she said that she felt they cost her a few points at the longer distances.

I read on the C.E website that a uni-bushing that fits a 2213 alum. fits the new CXL's!

Actually, not C.E website, but read it at Lancaster archerys site.

Bloodtrail, you are correct, the 2213 does fit as I have found out recently.Still can't get the weight and foc where I would like for 3d.I would be up around 300 gr and I would like to stay about 280 or less for my 53# bow.I believe these will be a lot better than the linejammers but doesn't look like they will do it for me.I am not complaining because I like my mags.

They arrived today so I figured I would give them a test drive. Here are the resuts.

26 3/4" arrow length (raw shaft only)
100 gr CE glue-in point
2.3" 3D Duravanes
Linejammer uni-bushing w/easton super 3D nock.
28" AMO drawlength @ 64#
Total arrow weight of 352gr

Chrono'd at 275fps.(Which I expected much slower)
Flew like darts and grouped very well.
So far I am liking them,I will get to group tune at long distance in the next couple days to see what the will do at 50yd.
