drop away rests advise please...
I need HELP!! I am in desperate need to tinker with my bow(s) this winter. I want to play with a drop away rest and need advised from the pros...
I shoot a parker ultra lite 35 @70 lbs, 30 inch GT xt hunter carbons W/ 85 heads. I am currently using a whisker bisket but I want to tinker to try and gain some more speed, forgivness(sp)? Any and all advise would great. Thanks KOZ |

I bought a Ripcord fall away rest and I have been using it for the
last couple of weeks, so far I really like it. |

I use to own one of those , with a muzzy fall away on it , great bow , great rest .

I've got a Parker Hunter Mag. I use a QAD Ultra Rest and I'm very happy.

Thanks for all of the advise. I am looking a the black gold trap door mach 4 rest it looks pretty nice no cables/strings to get messed up at the time of Mr. BIG BUCK walks by my tree stand.

Kozman... my dealer steered me away from a trap-door.He claims they are too sensitive for hunting. I think he is right... if you bang your bow from front or rear the rest will collapse.I didn't want to take that chance while hunting... even though a friend of mine uses one and loves it.
I may try the Schaffer... very well built and after the first of the year they are suppose to come out with interchangebale posts that are like the Ultra Qadwhich has a large U prong setup to completely conatin the arrow. |
