Gee, I couldn't give you a good answer. I've shot a rope release ever since I started shooting releases about 25 years ago. Still do--Cascade model 8. Use it for everything.

30" ata bow, ditched the catfish loop, went with a TRU Speed Nok on the string, scott mongoose release. Absolutely love it. No problems.

I shoot without a string loop during hunting season because find the loop in extra step That I don't need in the tree. but for target shooting i use one.

Good idea, 2buck. I also use a Winn Free-Flight with a string loop and have gotten used to attaching it and can do so easily and quickly. But I like your idea. Welcome to the board.
