squeaky release

Maybe I'm over paranoid about noise, but the leather on my release creaks a little when I draw back. Anyone else have this? What do you do about it? I suppose I could oil it but I don't want to introduce the smell. Today is the last day of bowhunting anyway but I'd like to have an answer for next season.

nny243,

I have had a similar problem. I used beewax on the leather parts. Rubbed it hard and fast to heat it and it soaks in. It's natural and I haven't noted any reason for the smell to spook game.
