RE: Range Finder question?

I have had some experience with the LRC400
I bought the lieca for the reputation that lieca had with the optics and must say I was disappointed with there rangefinder as far as accuracy
It would not give the same distances continually.

In bright sunlight looking directly at the target with the sun in front of you it would not read accuatly and was off as much as 10yds at times.

I felt it would not be dependable and took it back to where I got it and got a Nikon 400 that ranges in 1/2yd increments and am really pleased so far with this one.

Good Luck in your discission making I know it can be hard

Good Shooting

RE: Range Finder question?

I bought the LRF 800 this summer. IMO, it is a great rangefinder and I have had no problems with accuracy. The optics are excellent and it pulls double duty as my 'compact binocular/monocular'. It has a small and very flat case that fits nicely into a large pocket. I added two split-rings to the sides of mine using a large black zip tie so that I can carry it flat on my chest using my elastic binocular harness.

RE: Range Finder question?

I used it for 3D this summer and for hunting the today and last saturday I love it And put meat in the freezer today. its small and great optics the only false readings Ive had are from me shaking or moving it when in use... And I have checked it with my other range range finder. [yardage pro 400]
