muzzy zero effect??
 

is there any body here try muzzy zero effect with hoyt vtec, are they any good , im thinkin about switching rest to muzzy coz my quictune 4000 was not good it always hit the rest withvanes any technical problem about muzzy pls before i buy .. help and how loud is it!!! thank you...

I'm not sure about the Muzzy ZE...I've heard nothing but good things though.
Personally I think there too much going on there with that rest...JMO.
I have a 4000 also and have had NO probs with vane clearance...
Is it set back as far as it will go on the riser?
Adjust those prongs if necessary.
I'm sure you've checked these during practice and what not.

I don't know if it will work with that bow or not, well I am pretty sure it will I just don't know what configuration you would need. Contact muzzy and they will be able to tell you for sure.

The Zero Effect is actually a very simple rest when you look at it.

I would not say for sure if it will fix your problem though. You should be able to get the NAP rest to work just fine. Before spending $100 bucks on another rest I would try to figure out why the one you have doesn't work. I am guessing it is not set up quite right. There is nothing wrong with the 4000, it is just a different design than the muzzy is all.

I put one on my Vtec and it worked out very well. About the only problem your likely to have is if you like to shoot with the quiver attached your going to have a problem finding one that works well, as the Mze rest sits out from the riser a good bit.

I have a MZE on my Vtech with a Fuse quiver,no problems with any clearence.I've used MZE's on several bows with a Quikee Quiver,and clearence was an issue.What I did was used longer bolts with a metal sleeve over them to take care of the MZE's width.Worked like a charm....Bob

Ive been useing the muzzy from the day they came out , 8-10 years ago , on many diferant bows . It is the best rest made , Ive tryed others and allways come back to it . The new ones they have been makeing for the last 2 years with the teflon slides, are dead quiet , prior to that they had a roller slide that made a slight noise . If you have an older model Id refit . I believe they make a special model for hoyt , and another for mathews .

Im shooting zero effects on all but one of my hoyts. I have it on a Power tec and a Razor tec. I also shot with quivers on my bows with no clearence problems at all. Very quite rests. Once you put mole skin on them you can not hear them at all .. I have drawn on three deer this year, and not one has heard me. This year I shot one deer at 20 yards, another at 15 yards, and another at 35. Never once did a deer hear me draw. Same as last year, never heard me with a muzzy. They are great, I will never switch to anything else.

I put the MZE on my hoyt dynatec and was not dissapointed in any way, it makes no noise with the mole skin.I also have a hoyt quiver and so I shimmed that 1/8 " out .If you position the arrows around the bolt you shouldn't have any problems.

That's what I did and I use the Hoyt quiver also.
