RE: Getting Reflex Grizzly

Well after carefully considering the Grizzly and comparing it to other bows on the market,Ive decided to go with the Diamond Rapture lite, the bow seems to have been made just for me;),it has a 27" DL and tops off at 60 pounds and its IBO speed is 275 fps, which when compared to the grizzly i would have probably gotten only like 240 or 250 fps out of it.So I'm hoping i made the right choice,i considered all the IBO standards and thats why i came to the decision of the Diamond due to it being tested at 27DL and 5.Grper pnd of draw weight=300 gr. Its not a done deal yet so I'm hoping for some real pros input,Thanks in advance.Ill be shooting a 28.5 Gold tip with a total weight of 369.Gr.

Either should make you a good bow. Diamond has a growing reputation and the Reflex Grizzly is known as a good bow for the money. Good luck

RE: Getting Reflex Grizzly

I had a grizzly for a while and sold it because the shop sold me one which was too long for me. I ended up picking up a used Patriot instead. My only gripe with the Grizz was that I ended up having to remove the grip plates because of grip torque, other than that it was fine. The Diamond is also a great bow and likely a few FPS faster which is never bad.

Hey Guys, well i spoke to both Bowtech and Hoyt, getting all the ins and outs on both the Diamond and the Grizz, the Grizz isa better buy and well worth the money.Well Deer OU812,here are the specs for all the Reflex bows hope it helps. http://www.huntersfriend.com/2005-Bow-Review/bow-specifications-main.htm
Well from my understanding the longer A2A the more forgiving the bow,ill link you something you should read and it will give you an understanding on how compounds work. http://www.huntersfriend.com/bowselection.htm
