Where do they go?
I have been watching deer walk through the woods behind my house all through the summer. Now that bow season has started they appear to have left the country. Even when I walk around I can't even jump any. Is this because the rut has started or is it something else. There are very few squirrel hunters or any kind of hunters in the area so i wouldn't think that they are spooked already. Maybe they just know it's deer season. Where are they going and how do I find them?

RE: Where do they go?
From my past scouting I see a huge change in deer movement when the rut is on compared to earlier in the season when breeding is not on there list of things to do. During the rut if calling isn't working for you find wherethe does are feeding and hanging outand the bucks won't be to far behind
