New hunter, 2005 vs 2006 Tomkat

Howdy all,

first time poster here. I've been lurking for a while and am an avid rifle hunter. I'd like to extend my season and have the option of hunting closer to where I live. The new 2006 Tomkat package looks mighty tempting. It's what i'm looking for performance/price wise.
With the 2006's out now I should be able to get a deal on a 2005 Tomkat package right? What exactly is the difference between the 2005 and 2006? How much cheaper would the 2005 package have to be to justify buying it vs the new 2006 package?

Any feed back is welcome.

Thanks.

I would go with the 2006. There are many improvements over the 2005 model such as the binary cam system. The 2005's will be cheaper because of the discounts to clear out for the 06's but the advantages are worth the extra cost IMO.
