Think I'll just stick with my VaneTecs and Arizona EZ Fletch...

A Straight fletch set up will always be less accurate than a Helical fletch....doesn't take a pro to figure that out!

What about the weight? Since the shrink fletch would weigh more then that would weaken the spine which could possibly make it open up like that ????

Adding weight to the back of the arrow will not weaken the spine. It may, ever so slightly, make it shoot stiffer, but the most likely affect will be altering the F.O.C. and changing the amount of drag on the arrow. With field tips, the FOC changes would likely be negligible. I still suspect something is not right with the bow or the tune to get those results.

These pretty much mirror my thoughts.

Whenever you make a change to arrows you'll need to re-tune your bow to that arrow. I wouldn'texpect them both to tune the same since one is straight fletch and one is helical plus the fact thatthe shrink fletched ones have to weigh considerably more on the rear end which would severly effect the F.O.C.

I'venever used the shrink fletch but as greenmachine said, I believe you can give them a helical twistafter youtake them out of the water.

i really think your right helical arrows are hiding an out of tune bow to get those results.
