Stablizers

How do I pick a stablizer for my bow? And what about Limb Savers?

For my stabs I like a level balanced feel or a slight forward balance. I also want a stab that is going to deaden bow jump and vibration as much as possible. These traits will in turn provide me with a smooth and consistent rock solid shooting platform. I have become a huge fan of the GK Tranquilizers. I currently use a GK Tranq Shorty tipped with a SVL Module in front and then use 2 SVL Mods in the rear bushing of my Q2.... talk about stopping the shock..... WOW!!! I also like the Trophy Ridge Xchanger for when I want a lttle bit more weight. The TR is adjustable from 6.5" to 10.5" making it ideal for alot of bows.

As far as the Limb Savers go.... anything SVL is good and couldn't hurt to add. My favorite SVL products include the Stealth LS and the LS Modules. I also really like the new proto type leeches I'm testing right now. They seem to be a more durable, more rigid rubber. They also added a thick widened tab in the middle that will secure it in the string better than earlier models.

I like the tranquilizer by Golden Key and have been using one on my Q2XL. I am really happy with it's performance. I would suggest anyone looking for a stabilizer try one out! The limsavers won't hurt anything, some people find they work better on certain setups than others but for 15 bucks it's not a major investment & would be worth it for most setups.

Take a look at Sims Modular Stabilizer. I,like IL-Cornfed,
like a slightly forward feel with my bow. On the front of my
Q2 I use two SVL modules along with a SVL Stabilizer Enhancer
and in the rear bushing I use the third module. I couldn't
believe how much better my bow felt after switching to this
stabilizer setup.
