Moving a String Loop

Whats the easiest way to move a string loop if on polyester serving. It won't budge. Would hate to mess with the knot and have it come loose one day.

I use a woodworking tool called a scribe. It is just a pointed screwdriver.

The knot has to be loosened enough to move it. When you get it where you want it, use needle nose plyers to re-tighten it.

Try turning it on the string in the direction of the serving.....hopefully in the direction of the serving is wound...if not, loosen it and adjust. You may have to cut it off and start over.
