Release aids
I'm farily new to bow hunting and I hate the release aid that I am using. I want to get one that uses all the fingers to pull back. I have the type you wrap around your wrist, but when I shott with it, my shoulder hurts the day after.
Can someone suggest to me a good release that uses the fingers instead of the wrist. |
RE: Release aids
I'd look into the T.R.U. Ball T-Handle releases.

I'll definitely have to do that.

RE: Release aids
I have a Truball Extreme with Talon head I prefer the Talon head over the caliper head.
Another one I have is the Magtek 4 finger another great release that gives you a surprise evey time it fires because you just dont know when that magnet is going to break over, another good thing about the Magtek is zero trigger travel and if set correct no miss fires if you have to let down even if you have had pressure on the trigger. Just remember tho with any of the thumb style release when you draw the bow make sure your thumb is pointing down and no where near the trigger cause the resulting punch in the mouth hurts and can knock out both teeth and the user:);):D |

RE: Release aids
I'm looking at the extreme right now, and the only thing stopping me is the price. I'm willing to pay it if I can get years of use out of it. Is it something that will last a long time?
It looks like exactly what I need. |
RE: Release aids
I have been using my Extreme now for 4 years for both target and hunting.
You can find them a lot cheaper on Archerytalk's classifieds;) |
