Stabilizer help
 

I have an 02 hoyt cybertec. I am looking for a good quality stabilizer. I am not sure what to look for when I am buying one?

I would first decide if you want stablization, vibration control or both. I would opt for both! Most stablizers on the market today are very good products. Any of the products made by the following companies will work great for you; Trophy Ridge, SIM's, Doinker, TruGlo, Cobra, etc.

You need to first decide what you want in a stabilizer. Do you simply want something to dampen vibration? In that case something like the S-Coil by Simms or some of the smaller Doinkers would be great. There are many stabilizers that not only dampen vibration but they also are weighted to help stabilize the bow. The downside to this type of stablizer is that you'll likely want to try out a few until you find the one that feels right for you. Some may add too much weight, too little, etc. There are even some modular stabilizers that let you add/remove weights to find that perfect fit.

Best advice is to visit a good archery shop and try out a few stabilizers to find one that is right for you. Doinker, Simms, Stealth, Vibracheck and Trophy Ridge all have some excellent products to choose from. :)
